The main component of the product is MycoCholest red fermented rice, which is used in traditional Chinese medicine for thousands of years. Red rice is processed by fermentation with yeast Monascus purpureus. The result is a substance rich in monakolins (especially monakolin K), which is able to maintain proper levels of cholesterol and triglycerides in the body and thus protect the heart and blood vessels.
For our products we use only the red fermented rice that is organically grown and processed in the United States. All their products goes through rigorous testing. As a result, we are confident that our product does not contain any harmful substances (eg. Citrinin toxins or nephrotoxin).
To conserve the whole spectrum of active substances and at the same time to increase the impact of the product, we use red fermented rice extract at a concentration of only 0.6%.
MycoCholest also contains medicinal shiitake mushrooms, which also contributes to the harmonization of cholesterol in the body, strengthens the immune system and has antiarteriosclerotic effect.
It is part of MycoCholestu coenzyme Q10, which is necessary when using red fermented rice more complementary, and rutin (vitamin P), which helps maintain healthy blood vessels and regulates their elasticity.
